PASSIONS & PERSONALITY.

Hi, I’m Alicia

Talent Acquisition & Administration Coordinator
Former CEO for One Month 2023

🌍 Globally minded. People-focused. Driven by purpose.

I’m currently working in Talent Acquisition & Administration, where I focus on building strong teams and designing smooth, people-centred HR experiences.

Originally from Namibia 🇳🇦, I spent seven transformative years in Switzerland 🇨🇭 gaining international experience across hospitality, design, and human resources.

In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to serve as CEO for One Month, a leadership experience that shaped my approach to collaboration, innovation, and growth.

What drives me

I thrive where people and purpose meet — in spaces that demand creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep sense of connection. Whether it’s designing better systems or fostering great workplace culture, I’m here to make things better.

What’s next?

I’m continuing to grow my career with curiosity, adaptability, and a global mindset — always open to new ideas, challenges, and meaningful opportunities..

This is me in a nutshell…

A foodie with a passion for people with a drive to create positive change

My Story.

I was born in Windhoek, Namibia and was lucky enough to call Africa home!

Throughout my childhood, I spent a lot of time travelling the country and developing a deep sense of understanding of the people, places, animals, history and cultures that shapes Namibia.

As the daughter of a teacher and a tour guide, I was always encouraged to explore, connect and learn from the world’s best teacher, mother nature. Through camping and travel, I developed my passion for cooking, hosting friends and family and of course enjoying the various delicacies on offer.

I attended the international school in Windhoek and this only strengthened my belief, in the power of diversity, especially as a person of mixed race my identity doesn’t fit into a "conventional box”. The connections I made throughout my time in school and at university exposed me to different ways of thinking, cultures and customs.

For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about exploring my interests and continuing to work on myself. This is ultimately why I grew to love inline hockey, swimming, and volleyball and how I was able to further my passions for sport, music and art.

I have always had a competitive nature and a calling to help others and this is what has paved the way for my past leadership positions and currently to continue developing my leadership skills and style. I am grateful for all opportunities I have had to bring together groups of people to share, create and discover.

My story is only beginning and I have written only two chapters, but I look forward to what lies ahead in whichever direction that may be.

So stay tuned…

My True Self

As part of my CEO For One Month Journey, I was asked how to showcase my true self?

This is a question where I believe your response is in a state of constant flux. Who you are is molded by your experience, the people you meet, where you are, and what you learn. It is constantly changing- yes there may be elements that stay with you like a red thread through your story but who we are is something that we can constantly work on in order to develop ourselves into the version we strive to be.

A cyclical process of renewal, reworking, and constant change.

The below video describes my true self in my most recent role as CEO and in this state of life.
